Comments:  You Guys out did the 6 other sites I checked trying to keep my family safe. For instance You Guys clued us in to the fact that our resident Black Widow wasn't killed and eaten by one of our many Daddy Long Legs, but that the empty husk we had found was in fact the much feared Widow's shed skin. You guys also cleared up the confusion created by all these other sites about our Daddy Long Legs "Spider or what?"
Something you all may be interested in checking out. Recently heard that an electric shock first-aid treatment may be beneficial for treatment of poisonous bites. Supposedly the shock from high voltage low amperage devices such as auto ignitions or stun guns will break-down the highly complex molecular structures of these poisons into simpler proteins that are harmless or much less harmless.
one other thing. no one has any tips on how to get rid of these guys that I'm concerned may bite my two year-old grandson. Would love to see a section on this topic.
Gotta go Widow hunting
thanks for the help

Comments: I am a writer with seven books published at www.enovel.com. My wife is also a writer who gave me an interesting idea for a horror novel about spiders. This is the reason I searched for a website dealing with spiders. Because I have only a basic knowledge of spiders, I decided to surf for a site. I was so impressed with your site that I not only added it in my favorites, but I have passed it on to numerous people. Absolutely OUTSTANDING!!! Hopefully, the book will be done by the end of this year or the end of the first quarter of 2002. So far, an initial response to what is completed so far was, "Thanks man, I was itching for hours after reading it." Thanks again for the great site.

guessing to be a jeweled spider and i found one in our backyard and it looked somewhat similar
with a spiny back thing but it had really thin legs and it had white spots and its spiny back
thing took over most of the body. i dont know much about spiders which is why i came here, so if
you have any ideas, please email me
