Comments: My husband thought this fat whitish-grey, downy spider bit him and I went to the web to look for a sight that had pictures of poisonous spiders (especially curled up ones) and descriptions of any noticeable marks. This one has certain dark (fluffy-triangular) markings on his/her back. Any chance of developing sites for panic merchants like us???

Comments:  I had a dream about spiders the other night. I dreamt that my mom was going to wash one down the bathroom drain but the spider held on for dear life. He held on so pitifully that we felt bad for him. So we put him outside where he could go free. This dream made me realize that all life is precious, including spiders! :-) I have a new appreciation for spiders and I am now much less wary of them.

Comments:  This is certainly the most informational website I've seen all year. But please, add some more info about deseases the spiders can give you and what to do if you get bit by a poisenious one. I don't want to buy a spider, but I am curious about them. I have a friend who likes bloody and discusting stuff, but I'd rather see something more mild. Can you add more of both?

Comments: We too have studied spiders again this year and have a pet huntsman. We called her
Athena, after the god in the Greek myth who had the arguement with Arachne. She has laid the
most perfect egg sac on the glass of the fish tank that we keep her in. We shone a torch
through the sac and can see that it is about two-thirds full of small, green eggs. She is an
excellent mother and sits on her sac most of the time whilst we are at school to protect it. We
are hoping that she will chew a hole and set them free before we finish school next week.
