Comments: have to tell you, I DON'T love spiders (a childhood
scare), but I love nature. Thanks to you, my "alien" spider now has a
real name, Jewelled Spider. I
named him "alien" because it's shape looks like a form of spaceship. I
took pictures of him and his web. The first one I saw was bright yellow
on top and black with orange dots on the underside. What a beauty! Then
in another part of the yard I had two black and white "aliens". Now I
was really curious. Noone I knew could tell me anything. My husband took
my photos to the zoo to see if they would identify them. He waited
two hours for someone to talk to him and ran out of time. Your web site
is great! I am a little less squimish but can't use any real endearing
terms connected with the word spider. I have a question. Why after
living in thier same locations for about 6
months have they all disappeared? Thanks for being there.
Reply: Perhaps it was the end of their life
span?

stared screaming, she was scared speachless, i felt something crawling
on my back but knocked it off. she finally said i had the largest spider
she had ever seen on my back. it was (including legs)
as big as a softball and floresent green (bright light green)with very

Comments: My reason for saying "these choices stink!" is because
you left out "Totally grossed out" I like many people have a terrible
fear of spiders.. tonight I had a bad expierence in my room. It's pretty
messey clothes everywhere.. and i looked over and there was a huge
spider! It was a clear brown almost. And ick. Gave me the creeps.
However my fear of the things stops me from killin them as well.. so
it's creeping around in there somewhere. I don't wanna know where i'll
be avoiding going in there for the next few days. But I looked on this
site to see if i could figure out what kind it was.. i'm still shaking
and horrified as i type from those bit too close pictures. Nothing on
here looked quite like it.
