Comments: Spiny Orb Weaver spiders are invading our pool enclosure. You
can take them down in the morning and by evening they are back and have
sometimes even better webs than before. There is a line of oak trees on
the property line. Could this be the reason we have so many and although
they are quite unusual and make awsome webs, can we carefully eliminate
a good deal of them. Thanks for your imput.

been havin' tarantulla's as a pet since '98 and always was fascinated by
these little creeps "everyone" hates. my rosie hasn't shed her skin for
almost 3yrs now! i suggest it's a male but i'm not sure. I bought this
species cos of his calm, non-agressive natyre takin it out of the cage
impressin' the ignorant...just last week ; for the first time she tried
to bite me!! turnin around in the old-world pose......i din't take it
out and the same evening she ate the cricket who had been there a few
weeks...

Comments: Dear Friends, I came to this site attempting to identify a
spider I
see quite frequently everywhere I go on my ranch. I thing that it is a
rabid wolf spider, but they are really quite harmless, so I leave them
be. I really enjoyed your website
and I think that it is great what you are doing here and hope you have
the best of luck in the future. I am adding your page to my favorites,
for I am very much interested in
spiders and I like what I saw. Thank you and God bless.
Sincerely,
Paul Oliver

Comments: i have been searching all day in order to identify a
spider i found hiding in a pair of my daughter's pants on the floor of
her room. i finally found it - it was the very last on the list of
unidentified spiers. someone replied and called it a woodlouse hunter.
so now i know its not venomous! i can live in peace now.
