Comments: Hey there people. This site id really koooooooooool! i used to
have an Orange Baboon Spider from Camaroon, she was awesome man, real
awesome. Yes she was dangerousley venomous with a bite usually causing
Nacrosis for about Eight months so you gotta respect and admire these
beautifull Araknids! Also check out the Camel spiders of Iraq, my
friends brother is staioned out there and he says there so scary, there
huge, eat each other and also have a chew on Human flesh too, nice!
eeeeouch, no thanx!in fact no one sleeps unless there completely
covered so the Camel Spiders cant eat them! I'll leave you guys with
that thought, keep up the good work

came upon your FANTASTIC website on spiders. As the Computer Lab
teacher, I am constantly looking for sites for my K-5 students to
explore. This one will be used often! The second graders have been
studying spiders the last 2 weeks and went to see
a puppet show of "Charlotte's Web". Now they will have the additional
pleasure of seeing all of the wonderful pictures, reading the awsome
poems you have written, and gathering even more information about

Comments: This site is very nice. I really like the experiences
you have had with your children and teaching them by experience and
observation. You have changed alot of little minds and lives by teaching
in this manner. I have three children myself. I consider
myself a teacher also, though no where near as admired as you. We, at
present, have 15 tarantulas, four dogs, two cats, one black widow and
four pond fish. We love to learn about nature and science. Thank you for

Comments: My wife and I vacationed at Hilton Head Island recently and
there was a huge web on the porch of the adjoining condo. The residents
of this web were a very large spider with black and yellow legs
and a much smaller version which we thought was a young spider of the
same species. A maintenance man at the condo told us it was
a banana spider but I've also heard that name given to the Black and
Yellow Argiope which we have seen in our yard. Well, I finally found it
on your web site. It's the Golden Silk Orb Weaver. They are my two
favorite spiders because of their colors - black and
yellow (gold) for Pittsburgh! Great web site!
