Comments: Your web site was wonderful resource I had a freshman college
course that required a paper on animal observation and I'd chosen the
spider that's been in my window for months but had no idea what kind of
spider it was, which was required information for my paper, I found all
the pictures and information amazing. Keep up the great work (kids &
teacher) your teaching lots more people than your classroom could hold.

Comments: This is an awesome site, one of the best I've found.
You've helped me overcome my horrible fear of spiders to the point that
I had to pick up and move my pretty Argiopes spider so she wouldn't get
killed while I was cleaning out the garden. I love checking the site
every few days to see what new gems have been posted. Keep up the good
work!

Comments: The color photos really helped to identify a spider I found
under the desk at work. It was a Wolf Spider. Not a good encounter there
since she had her hatchlings along for the ride. I am thrilled your
website could help me to identify it and I will
certainly come back to identify more that I find.

Comments: We have an Argiope/garden spider who we have named Clarence
living amongst out tomato plants. We have been checking on her each day
and feeding her the occasional cricket. The past couple of days she was
gone and then our dog Chester was barking a lot tonight outside our
basement door. Low and behold Chester found Clarence (yeah a boy name,
we didn't know that the bigger Agriopes were females) anyway I returned
her to the garden and hope she can make it for a couple more months
before it gets cold!

Comments: I recently moved to Georgia from Pennsylvania. I have
found 3-4 very large spiders (large compared to spiders up north) I
became very concerned that the spiders I was finding outside my home
would find a way inside to my young children or they would find one
while outside playing. I am very relived to know that they are gree lynx
spiders and that the bite is not poisonous. Your site is extremely
informational. I would rate it very high. Thank you so much. Jenn L
